Between July 2012 and June 2014, a total of 609 young people were referred to the NYC Justice Corps. The majority are male (83%) and have not completed high school or earned a GED (68%).

The NYC Justice Corps is administered by the Prisoner Reentry Institute of John Jay College of Criminal Justice with funds from the NYC Center for Economic Opportunity and the NYC Young Men’s Initiative.
